Quotes & Invoicing

Quote, approve, invoice and refund, all from one place and without retyping.

No per-user pricing for up to 50 users.

Quotes and invoices share the same line editor, so a quote becomes an invoice with nothing re-entered. When a customer approves a quote it turns into an issued invoice, carrying its ticket with it.

Every document starts with your logo and business details in a proper letterhead, and can be printed or saved as a PDF.

Quotes that run their course

A quote starts as a draft, becomes open when you finalise it, and then is approved, declined or expires. The validity period is a setting, 14 days to begin with.

Renew an expired quote

An expired quote cannot be approved until it is renewed for a fresh period. Approved and declined quotes are never deleted.

Invoices in stages

Draft an invoice, issue it to give it a number, take part payments and mark it paid. Numbers are gapless.

Editable until the first payment

An issued invoice can be changed until a payment is made. After that it is locked, and extra work goes on a separate invoice.

Lines that add up

Quantity, unit price and total on every line. Add stock items, or add a service rate by hours and minutes, and Serlix prices the time.

Payment terms

Choose due on receipt or 7, 14, 21 or 28 days, with a default you set.

Send it on

Email an invoice as a PDF, print it, or save it. Who can email invoices is a permission you control.

Void what was never paid

An unpaid issued invoice can be voided, and the number is kept.

Refunds that leave a trail

Refund a whole invoice or particular lines, by any method. A credit note is always created, and the paid invoice itself is never edited.

Tied to the ticket

Quotes and invoices attach to a ticket, and the ticket lists the documents linked to it.
