Payments are recorded against invoices and sales, with a receipt for each. Card data never touches Serlix: only the method, amount and reference are stored.

Vouchers with a scannable code
Issue a voucher for an amount, with an optional expiry and customer. It prints with a scannable code and a code to type, and a scan with a mistake is refused straight away.
Codes kept safe
Voucher codes are stored only as a one-way fingerprint. The code is shown once, when it is made.
Control after issue
Look a voucher up, extend its expiry, cancel it with a reason, or print it again with a new code. Every change goes on its history.
Email a voucher
Send a voucher to a customer by email, with the code, its value and expiry, and a pass for their phone wallet.
Refunds can become vouchers
Give a refund back as a voucher with the usual expiry.
